Limited to the west by " Mount Lebanon " mountain range and to the east by Syria. The Bekaa contains a plain and two mountain ranges, the Anti - Lebanon to the north and Jebel el Sheikh ( it’s culminating point is Mount Hermon at 2814 m ) to the south; it stretches over an area of approximately 4000 km2.

A fertile land of agriculture and viniculture in the plain, arid in the mountain, this land of extraordinary beauty offers treks with breath taking scenery (views on the plain and Syria and passages through many archaeological sites) and various levels of difficulty (ranging from 500 to 1800 m of uneven roads up to 80° of inclination).
