Mainly dominated by the chain of Jebel Sannine ( 2600m ), Jebel Knaisse ( 2000m ) and Jebel Barouk ( 1900m ), Mount Lebanon stretches over an area of 3000 Km2. It is full of treks with various difficulties ( ranging from 30 to 70 degrees of inclination and from 200 to 1300m of uneven roads ) add to that a variety of unique views.

As in North Lebanon, the predominating stones are the Crenomanian stone ( found on mountain tops ) and the Jurassic stone ( found in valleys ). Roman roads often went through mountain chains such as Tarchich, Laklouk and Jebel Moussa. Mount Lebanon also possesses two cedar reserves in Jaj and Barouk. They offer a variety of unique views.
