Stretching over 2500 km2, North Lebanon has more than 150 different hiking treks of various
levels of difficulty ( from 200 to 1300m of altitude and from 30 to 70 degrees of inclination ). It is
also interesting from several geological points of view ( Cremonian and Jurassic stone ).
North Lebanon’s range of mountains ( Jebel in Arabic ), most particularly Jebel el

Mnaitre, Jebel Dahr el Qadib and Jebel Qornet el Sawda ( 3088m ), together with the valleys
of Qannoubine ( part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage ) and Jouit ( near the village of Kfar Sghab ),
add to that the forests of Besharré Cedars, Ehden and Qammouha, without forgetting the historical
sites of Qannoubine and Hardine, all of those always offer magnificent views and keep imperishable souvenirs.
